Toy Train Groups

Participating in toy train discussion groups is a great way to learn about toy trains. It's also a great way to get ideas for your layout, find answers to questions, and meet new friends.

There are quite a few groups, for space reasons I will only list the two I subscribe to here. You can find others on the Google groups page. Moderated groups are better because the moderators keep the posts on topic and block the spam.

For general toy train information, the Train Collectors Association moderates the toytrains group. You do not need to belong to the TCA to participate. A moderated group for Standard or Wide Gauge trains running on 2 and 1/4 inch track is the standg@yahoogroups.com
