6430 with metal trailer roof's
« on: April 18, 2022, 02:54:50 PM »
Pulled out some post war trailer cars that were in storage for a while.  Found a 6430 with gray CJ trailers with metal roofs.  These were done a while ago for I have had the car for 40 years.  The paint almost matches the unpainted trailers.

Anybody else have metal roofed trailers?

I've never seen a metal roof for a trailer, but I have seen many trailers missing the roof. I'd assume someone made the roofs to replace the missing ones.

That's a walk down memory lane. He copied my screen savers sales material. In fact, he's still using most of the sales letter I wrote in 1999 on his site. I sold screen savers between 1998 and 2003. After that they just didn't sell.

I also had a page here on train99 about doing appraisals for $20 with links to Greenberg books on Amazon. The appraisal page was to stop the constant questions of how much is my train worth. He copied that too because he thought I was making money with it.

It's good to see he has been working in his website and adding articles about trains.
