I bought 224E-13 & 13 on 3/12/2021. They just arrived today. The 25th. That’s 13 days. USPS showed that the seller (Henningstrains) listed something they didn’t have. Bought a shipping label on the 12th but tracking never showed that USPS had the package? USPS was waiting fore the package to arrive at there site. Hennings trains ordered them from someone else then mailed them to me? That’s OK if they let you know that’s how they do business. I think it sucks to have a customer waiting for 13days to get restoration parts.

I’ll not buy from them again.

Henning's been in business for a long time since 1939 I think it is. They are up there along with my local train store which opened in 1934.
They don't stay in business that long doing what you say.
A lot of the problems are the USPS itself! And they will try to cover up their mistakes!
I won an auction on 4/20/21 the tracking showed the same as you describe. I track all of my things, USPS is the worst!
My seller had to open a search for the item on USPS, shipped out of St Louis, the tracking showed what yours did. They finally found it in Tennessee!
Well it made Jersey city NJ 4 days ago, I am STILL waiting for it to move.
I know someone who hangs out at Henning's, good friends with the owner. If I had known about your problem, he might have been able to help sorting it out.

All in all, in the end, I would blame the USPS 99% of the time, not the seller.
USPS s ucks, no wonder they are struggling to keep alive.  ::)

When you use sandpaper you are doing more damage to the track then good. You are taking off some of the metal plating on the track, and your track will get dirtier faster.
I use green Scotch brite pads along with 200 proof alcohol. Yes drinking alcohol. :) I have samples from work. :)
If you can find 99% isopropanol that is good, the other 1% is water. The 91% isopropanol, which you should find in the store, is 9% water that is good to use too.
Some isopropanol's are denatured and label at 71%, the rest are solvents of different sorts, I would stay away from them.
I have a good supply of chemicals as I hauled most of them throughout the years.

Looks like it will be fun to wire in the top level?
Do you plan on adding a lot of items on top that will need to be wired in?

Somehow I got to fix the 2 pictures that don't enlarge. Or else take new ones, I don't know why they don't work.

That is Santa Claus & Rudolph in his Kris Kringle Craft speedboat on vacation after Christmas.  :)

This is the pilings with bird crap before I toned them down. :) I over did it a little. lol
These are old pictures. It is there, you can't see it in the pictures.

Edit, I have to change the bird picture somehow so it enlarges.
But you can see all the bird crap before I toned it down, I did over do it some at first. :)

Nice, thanks for posting.
Too bad the picture isn't a bit larger to see it closer up.

Nice work on the wood trestle with birds. Did you make it, a kit, or purchased pre-built?

A guy I knew made these among other structures and bridges, just the wooden part. He made N/HO/S and O bridges. Some G scale if someone asked.
The rest I made up, still not done yet.
The speckled pigeons (Columba guinea's) or funny looking seagulls, take your pick, I painted up.  :) Hard finding O scale birds.
As with my people they fly to other parts on the layout occasionally.
The pilings I made up out of scrap wood.
The reeds I grabbed local in the wetlands. I brought them home and dried them then hit them with hair spray. The green ones with the punks I bought.
The blue I have to tone down, and the trestle just sits on the water for now. Nothing secure right now.
The bulkhead rocks I made out of old mushroom containers which are a foam like material, I carved in the blocks.
Still need to add more things and finish up.
I took a few quick pictures of the birds.
