Marx Military Trains on the Lake Shore Railway

The Marx Military Forces have occupied the Lake Shore Railway as they pass through town to their Top Secret destination.
All civilian trains get the red light as the OD fleet takes over the right-of-ways.

Those are neat. Playing with the trains.

There was a man here in AZ named Nick Grippe. He had all kinds of trains like President's specials, blue comets, hudsons and such, but he always brought Marx when the club ran trains in the malls. He said Louie's stuff just wasn't given the respect it deserved.

Although I collect Lionel and Am Flyer now, I will always hold Marx Tinplate trains in the highest regard. Louis could do with lithographed artwork, what it took the other makers thousands of $$ in tooling to create.
