A recent one that I got was from a supposed police association in Illinois looking for donations to buy safety equipment. I still have an Illinois cell number, but we haven't lived in Illinois since 2006. There is no end to scams, especially on the elderly, which I am on the edge of...........wish I was still on "the edge of 17" as Stevie Nicks said.

I get scamming stuff all the time. It’s to the point that I don’t respond to anything. I got a email from the bank I deal with. Rather than answering the email I called the bank. It was a scam. The back wanted the email. So I forward the email to there security people.

It’s such a shame that with what we have in the world of electronics some low life folks us it to steal.

Life’s a struggle. Be safe and change your passwords often.

Unfortunately there seems to be a "dark side" to everything these days. If the people who engineered these scams focused their attention on something legal and worth-while, they might make something of their selves. It is a shame, but will likely get worse.
